Care & Longevity

Wooden Cutting Board Care

Daily Care

  • Hand wash only with warm water and mild dish soap.

  • Dry immediately with a towel — never air dry flat on a wet surface.

  • Stand upright to allow full airflow.

What to Avoid

  • No dishwasher.

  • Do not soak or submerge in water.

  • Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive scrubbers.

Conditioning

  • Apply food-grade mineral oil or board butter every 3–4 weeks (or when wood looks dry).

  • Let oil soak in overnight, wipe off excess the next day.

Sanitizing

  • Use white vinegar or a diluted hydrogen peroxide rinse.

  • For odor removal, sprinkle coarse salt and rub with half a lemon.

Epoxy Resin Charcuterie Board Care

Daily Care

  • Hand wash gently with mild soap and warm water.

  • Dry immediately with a soft cloth.

What to Avoid

  • No dishwasher.

  • Do not use as a cutting surface on the epoxy.

  • Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or high heat.

Surface Protection

  • Use knives only on the wood portion if applicable.

  • Avoid placing hot pans or dishes directly on the resin.

Maintenance

  • Condition the wood sections just like a cutting board.

  • If light scratches appear in resin, they can often be polished with a plastic-safe polish.
